STABILIZATION

The BD Securis™ Stabilization Device requires 70% more force to dislodge a PIVC when compared to those secured with tape and a transparent dressing.*†

STERILITY

The BD Securis™ Stabilization Device is a sterile securement solution designed to reduce the likehood of catheter contamination.

PISTONING

The BD Securis™ Stabilization Device demonstrates greater catheter stabilization, a reduction in total pistoning movement, and requires a greater force to dislodge the IV catheter when compared to tape.*

COMPLIANCE

A sterile securement helps meet best practice and industry guidelines.
INS recommends the use of an Engineered Stabilization Device as an alternative to tape.1
CDC recommends the use of an Engineered Stabilization Device to help reduce the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs).2
