Safety Mechanism
The safety mechanism is housed in the plastic base. Once the needle has been pulled through the base the mechanism covers the needle bevel and locks it into the plastic base. The safety mechanism helps protect clinicians and patients from accidental needlestick injuries during needle removal, transport and disposal of the PowerLoc™ Max.

- 22 gauge needle withstands up to 2 mL/s power injection of contrast media
- Power sticker notifies CT technicians of power injection capability and CT parameters
